Roderick O'DriscollRoderick O'Driscoll has a substantial practice as a solicitor, Notary Public, Chartered Arbitrator, Adjudicator and Mediator in Maidstone, Kent where he leads the Arbitration and Construction Department of Messrs Gullands.

Roderick is the author of numerous legal articles and a frequent speaker on Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is an approved Tutor and a course director for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, for whom he acts as an accredited Mediator.

Over recent years he has carried out international research in connection with the resolution of construction disputes, visiting Australia and carrying out comparative studies. Mediation is commonly used in over 80 per cent of all construction cases in Australia.

Roderick is the Co-Founder of the South Eastern Dispute and Arbitration Centre, a vice-chairman of the South Eastern Branch of the Institute, a member of the Society of Construction Arbitrators, a member of the International Chamber of Commerce, a member of the European Court of D'Arbitrage in Strasbourg and a member of the Construction Industry Council.
