Some 6 months ago I again took over the Branch role of communicating with professional and consulting bodies in our Branch Area. My first action has been to endeavour to resuscitate and update the previous list that was prepared about two decades ago. Unfortunately the list was lost and we have had to start from scratch.

Last September I wrote to about 40 organisation of which about a score responded. We have had a handful of requests for lectures, which we have in hand. These presentations are most important to the CIArb whose basic rule is to not only promote Arbitration and ADR, but also to encourage dual membership from other individuals.

Will Branch Members please contact me by letter, email or telephone and let me know the relevant secretary or representative of the local professional body they belong to. The more names and addresses the better.
