Richard Inniss
Richard is a general practice chartered
surveyor, having been in practice for over 35 years with a wide experience
including building surveying, property management, valuation of all types of
property, dilapidations, and commercial and residential landlord and tenant.
Currently Richard's main areas of practice
are Leasehold Reform and Dispute Resolution. In respect to the latter he
receives both private appointments and from the President of the RICS covering
all types of landlord and tenant problems, boundary disputes and valuations.
Richard is also on the RICS panel for arbitration appointments. He satisfied
the requirements to become a chartered arbitrator in May 2004 having passed the
special fellowship course in 1998
Richard has previously served on the council
of the ISVA (now merged with the RICS), the Residential and Survey Skills panel
of the RICS, and on the Dispute Resolution Faculty Board of the RICS. He has
also been an external examiner for Estate Management degree courses. In his
spare time Richard acts as a rugby union referee coach/advisor. He is also keen
on gardening, bird watching and walking. |
Colin Featherstone
Colin is a chartered quantity surveyor with
over 25 years experience within both the civil engineering and building
industry, primarily in the UK, spanning mining infrastructure; leisure
facilities; commercial and residential property; highways, structures and
tunnels and the Jubilee Line Extension. He initially worked for main
contractors and a consulting engineer, before setting up as a sole practitioner
in 1996 and more recently as a director of C Featherstone Associates Ltd.,
which was formed in May 2001.
Colin is also the company secretary and
holds directorships in two recently formed companies: Plan B Consulting UK
Ltd., a specialist recruitment company operating within the defence and
construction arenas and Intelligent Document Solutions Ltd., an Internet based
virtual office system, which has applications in project management and dispute
resolution case management.
Within the past 7 years Colin has turned his
focus to dispute resolution and has interspersed his own appointments as
quantum expert / Expert Assessor with work as a sub-consultant with a number of
claims and dispute resolution practices, in both ICC and CIMAR arbitrations,
conciliation and adjudication proceedings.
Colin is currently undergoing arbitration
pupilage; adjudication accreditation with various panels and CUBS Expert
Witness training. |
