The venue for regular Branch Meetings is New Committee Member: Lee Knight We are delighted to welcome a new member to the committee of South East Branch. Lee Knight works in the insurance industry and has practical experience of the London and International markets. He has previously worked with an international claims settling agency, and thereafter with two multi-national underwriting companies. He is a member of the British Maritime Law Association (BMLA), British Insurance Law Association (BILA), The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), the British Computer Society (BCS), and the Chartered Institute of Insurers (CII). Lee is currently an Associate of CIArb, starting his MCIArb Module 1 in March of this year. He hopes to achieve MCIArb status in the very near future. Lee is also reading for a BA in Philosophy at Birkbeck, University of London, having transferred from the LLB course during the second year. After graduation, Lee hopes to read for a BPhil, at St Hilda's College, Oxford University, followed by the BA Law Accelerated, also at St Hilda's College. Lee is particularly interested in starting a Young Members Group within the Branch and is also keen to contribute to the Branch website. We greatly look forward to receiving his contributions and welcome him to the committee. |
